Who is the government visit visa for?

The government visit visa is a visit visa authorized by a Saudi government body. It requires a visa authorization (the “visa slip”) issued from Saudi Arabia: that authorization is the basis of your application, and we cannot obtain it on your behalf.

Your file must also show why the authorization applies to you. Depending on the case, that is proof of the profession stated on the authorization or, when the authorization is based on a family relationship, proof of that relationship. If you are not sure this visa fits your situation, call us: we look at it with you before you start.

Documents to prepare

Your file brings together documents from different sources. The Saudi visa authorization comes from Saudi Arabia. The rest you provide in Canada: the completed and signed visa application form, a recent photo on a white background, proof of your profession or family relationship, your original passport (normally with more than six months of validity remaining) and the signed notification paper. If you are not a Canadian citizen, a valid document showing your status in Canada is also required. Here is the list; our team keeps it up to date.

Requirements

  • Visa Application Form — Fully completed and signed by the applicant.
  • Personal Photo — One recent photograph on a white background.
  • Saudi Visa Authorization (Visa Slip) — The authorization issued from Saudi Arabia.
  • Proof of Eligibility — Either proof of the profession stated on the authorization, or proof of the family relationship when the authorization is based on one.
  • Proof of Canadian Status — Non-Canadian Citizens Only — For applicants who are not Canadian citizens: a valid Canadian immigration-status document, such as a Permanent Resident Card, work permit or study permit.
  • Original Passport — The physical original passport, normally with more than six months of validity remaining.
  • Notification Paper — Completed and signed by the applicant.

Questions about your documents?

This list can change: we confirm the exact documents for your file before you send anything.

Who decides, and when

The visa is issued at the discretion of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. No agency can promise a date or a decision, and we do not publish timelines: each file is examined on its own.

What we control is the quality of the file: complete, consistent and submitted the way it is expected. A complete file from the start avoids back-and-forth. Wait until you have your visa before buying a non-refundable ticket.

Anywhere in Canada, by mail

Our clients come from Montréal, Quebec City, Trois-Rivières, Sherbrooke, Ottawa, Toronto, the rest of Ontario and anywhere else in Canada. You can send us your documents by mail: we first tell you what to send and how your documents will come back to you.

Our office is at 150, boulevard Côte-Vertu Ouest, bureau 201, Montréal (Québec) H4N 1C6. We serve you in French, English and Arabic.

Government visit visa: frequently asked questions

What is the visa authorization, and who obtains it?

It is the authorization (the “visa slip”) issued from Saudi Arabia, on which your application rests. It is obtained there: we step in once it exists, to prepare and submit your file.

What proof do I need to show that the authorization applies to me?

Either proof of the profession stated on the authorization, or proof of the family relationship when the authorization is based on one. We tell you which applies to your file.

Can I apply from Canada if I am not a Canadian citizen?

Yes, provided you can show valid proof of your status in Canada, such as a Permanent Resident Card, a work permit or a study permit. This document is only requested from applicants who are not Canadian citizens.

Do I need to live in Quebec?

No. Our service covers all of Canada: you send us your documents by mail, and we follow your file with you by phone or email.

Can you guarantee that the visa will be granted?

No. Nobody can: the decision belongs to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. All applicants must process their visa through an approved agent. Our role is to submit a complete, compliant file so that a missing document doesn’t hold you up.
