Saudi personal visit visa from Canada

Has a Saudi citizen invited you to visit? The personal visit visa starts in Saudi Arabia: the person who invites you obtains the authorization there. Here, Voyages Classy Travel, an authorized agent of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canada and based in Montréal since 2005, checks your file, submits it and follows it up, wherever you live in the country.

Who is the Saudi personal visit visa for?

This visa is for people living in Canada who are invited to Saudi Arabia by a Saudi citizen. The personal visit authorization is issued in Saudi Arabia by that citizen, who acts as your sponsor: without it, the file cannot start.

Not sure this is the right visa for your situation? If the invitation you received falls under another type of visa, tell us: we check with you which one fits before you prepare anything.

Documents to prepare

Your file brings together documents that come from Saudi Arabia and others that you provide in Canada. On the Saudi side, there is the visa authorization (the “visa slip”) and a copy of the national ID of the citizen who invites you. On your side, there is the application form, your photo on a white background, your original passport, normally with at least six months of validity remaining, and the notification paper. If you are not a Canadian citizen, proof of your status in Canada is added to the list. Each item is described in the list below.

Requirements

  • Visa Application Form — Fully completed and signed by the applicant.
  • Personal Photo — One recent photograph on a white background.
  • Saudi Visa Authorization (Visa Slip) — The personal visit authorization issued in Saudi Arabia by the Saudi citizen who invites you.
  • Saudi Sponsor ID — A copy of the Saudi inviter's national ID.
  • Proof of Canadian Status — Non-Canadian Citizens Only — For applicants who are not Canadian citizens: a valid Canadian immigration-status document, such as a Permanent Resident Card, work permit or study permit.
  • Original Passport — The physical original passport, normally with at least six months of validity remaining.
  • Notification Paper — Completed and signed by the applicant.

Questions about your documents?

This list can change: we confirm the exact documents for your file before you send anything.

Who decides, and when

The visa is issued at the discretion of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. No agency can promise a date or a decision, and we do not publish timelines: each file is examined on its own.

What we control is the quality of the file: complete, consistent and submitted the way it is expected. A complete file from the start avoids back-and-forth. Wait until you have your visa before buying a non-refundable ticket.

Saudi personal visit visa: frequently asked questions

What is the personal visit authorization, and who obtains it?

It is the document, issued in Saudi Arabia, that authorizes your visit. It is obtained there by the Saudi citizen who invites you, not by you. Once you have it, we can prepare your file here in Canada.

Do I have to go through an agent to submit my application?

Yes. All applicants must process their visa through an approved agent. Voyages Classy Travel is an authorized agent of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canada.

Can I apply from Canada if I am not a Canadian citizen?

Yes, if you can provide proof of your status in Canada: it is the document listed for applicants who are not Canadian citizens. We tell you which document is accepted for your situation.

Do I need to live in Quebec?

No. Our visa service covers all of Canada: you send us your documents by mail, and we follow your file with you by phone or email.

Can you guarantee that the visa will be granted?

No. Nobody can: the decision belongs to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. Our role is to submit a complete, compliant file so that a missing document doesn’t hold you up.
