Saudi investor visa from Canada
Investing in Saudi Arabia, or a partner in a Saudi company, with an investor visa authorization issued for you in Saudi Arabia? Voyages Classy Travel, an authorized agent of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canada based in Montreal since 2005, prepares your investor visa application and submits it to the Embassy, wherever you live in Canada.

Who is the Saudi investor visa for?
The investor visa we process is for people travelling to Saudi Arabia under an investor authorization issued in Saudi Arabia. The file therefore starts there: the Saudi company or sponsor obtains the authorization, then the rest of the file is prepared in Canada and we submit it to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. The list and the steps on this page cover this visa only.
Not to be confused with: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment (MISA) also offers, online, the “Business Visit Visa — Visiting Investor”. Eligible foreign investors may also qualify for it. It is a separate route, completed on MISA’s platform under its own conditions; we do not process it through the Embassy, and the documents on this page do not apply to it.
Not sure which case applies to you? Describe your project and tell us whether an authorization has already been issued in Saudi Arabia: we will tell you before you gather your documents.
Documents to prepare
This is the list we use for the investor visa submitted to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia through our office. It covers the authorization issued in Saudi Arabia, the company or investment documents linked to it, your identity and your status in Canada. Some documents are required only in certain cases; they are marked as such. This list does not cover MISA’s online Visiting Investor route.
The documents depend on the authorization issued in Saudi Arabia and can change: we confirm the list for your file before you send us anything.
How we prepare your file
- 1
Tell us about your project
By phone, by email or with the inquiry form, explain your project in Saudi Arabia and tell us whether a Saudi company or sponsor has started an authorization for you.
- 2
Your Saudi partner does its part
The investor visa authorization is issued in Saudi Arabia, usually at the request of the Saudi company or sponsor. We tell you which reference to ask them for.
- 3
We confirm your list
Based on your authorization and your situation, we tell you which documents apply, including those required only in certain cases.
- 4
We check your documents
Every document is reviewed: it must be complete, readable and consistent with your passport and your authorization before the file moves forward.
- 5
Submission and follow-up
As an authorized agent of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canada, we submit your file to the Embassy and follow up on it. The decision belongs to the Saudi authorities.
Who decides, and when
The visa is issued at the discretion of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. No agency can promise a date or a decision, and we do not publish timelines: each file is examined on its own by the Saudi authorities.
What we control is the quality of the file: complete, consistent and submitted the way it is expected. Your Saudi partner's part of the file matters as much as yours. Avoid buying non-refundable tickets before your visa is in hand.
Anywhere in Canada
Our office is in Montreal, but our visa service covers all of Canada: you can send us your documents by mail. Before you send anything, we confirm the documents your file needs and how to ship them.
You can talk to us in French, English or Arabic.
Questions about the investor visa
Do I need an authorization from Saudi Arabia?
Yes, for the investor visa we process. The authorization is issued in Saudi Arabia, usually at the request of the Saudi company or sponsor; the rest of the file is then prepared in Canada.
What about MISA’s online Visiting Investor route?
It is a separate route, offered online by the Ministry of Investment, for which eligible foreign investors may also qualify. It has its own conditions, set by MISA: they are not those of our list, and we do not process it through the Embassy.
Can I work in Saudi Arabia with an investor visa?
To work in Saudi Arabia, the Government of Canada states that a work visa is required. If your project includes employment, see our work visa page and talk to us about it.
Is the investor visa the same as Premium Residency?
No. Saudi Arabia has separate long-term residency programs, such as Premium Residency, with their own rules and their own platform. Tell us about your plans and we will point you to the official information.
Does my passport need to be valid for long?
Yes. The Government of Canada states that a Canadian passport must be valid for at least six months from the date you enter Saudi Arabia. Check it before you start your file.
I am not a Canadian citizen. Can I apply from Canada?
Tell us your citizenship and your status in Canada: proof of Canadian status is part of the file for applicants who are not Canadian citizens, and we confirm what applies before you send anything.
